The Gio Project is an initiative that aims to raise awareness of congenital heart defects through music.  All donations from this event will go to Mended Little Hearts of the Triangle, a non-profit organization that supports and advocates for families and children that have been impacted by a congenital heart defect.  For this cause, Robert Young and Polina Khatsko share an evening of lovely music for saxophone and piano on FEBRUARY 12, 2021 at 7:30PM (EST).  The Gio Project is dedicated to the life of Gianni Young, affectionately known as baby Gio.  Born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, baby Gio passed away in May of 2020 at the age of 8 months old.  Robert Young is the father of this young warrior.
